This is a great way to be active inside. It's been snowing here and it's hard to get out and play, especially putt-putt or golf and in weather like this kids will tend to get "lazy". This gets everybody up and moving again. We set it up on carpet and it works well, it has a mat to place on the floor and a rack to set the pins in and then carefully, you just lift the rack for the pins to be placed properly. You can make the game as challenging as you like by allowing smaller kids to move closer to the pins. It even comes with score sheets to keep score just as you would in bowling. We have Wii, which has the bowling game and golf games, but you can't replace the "real thing" with virtual games, so I recommend this, turn the TV off and play as a family without the hassle of remotes.

Very please with my purchase, I liked that it is portable, make a great in house entertaining game set, all we needed was to pickup a golf club which was readily available at a goodwill store or a salvation/thrift shops inexpensively..I will definitely pick one of as a gift for my nephew.

This is a fun game to play with the family. Some reviewers talk about small pins, but be realistic how big can the pins be and still get knocked down with a golf ball. My son and I play all the time. He likes the fun and I like to sharpen my putting skills.
