The Cleveland CG Classic Collection Putter is inspired by the classics and crafted for performance. This classic collection putter features a black platinum finish with a CNC-milled face for a soft, responsive feel. All models have heel-toe weighting which increases the moment of inertia for added forgiveness while helping to limit unwanted twisting on off-center hits. All models are hand polished from 17-4 Stainless Steel and the black platinum PVD Finish helps minimize glare while providing a long lasting luster. Each putter comes with an oil-treated cloth to help prevent oxidation.

    This is a great putter. I spent a lot of time looking into the various versions of the heel-shafted/semi-mallet style putters and this one actually has one of the cleanest looks. The Rife Abaca is a great design as well, but its $150 (2x the cost), the odyssey putter is cluttered and costs more, the taylormade just didn't feel quite right to me, the NC Gambler was just super pricey, and every putter that I tried cost more than this classic #2 from Cleveland.

    What was interesting is this new version (clearly stamped with 350g on the back vertical edge of the mallet flange) is actually lighter than the 2008 and prior versions by a few grams. Luckily, I tried both out and noticed the 2008 version is also shaped slightly different. I preferred the older version and you may as well. There are less markings on the older version (just on the bottom of the putter).
